What is a Bottle?
A Bottle is a lightweight, fully isolated environment that bundles everything your project needs to run. It's a Docker container with your files inside, served on the internet with a public URL.
Your uploaded files are stored on the server's hard drive and survive container restarts and server reboots . When you stop and restart a Bottle, a new container is created but your files are remounted — nothing is lost.
However, any data your running application writes to system directories outside /app (like /tmp or /var ) is lost when the container restarts. If your application uses a database, make sure the database file is stored within your project files.
Every Bottle runs in its own sandboxed Docker container. A process inside one Bottle cannot :
