Quick start

Bring ABRIA up, verify version 0.24.0, create an account, teach it an experience, and ask a question.

Start the service

ABRIA's Python package exposes abria_server.__main__ and FastAPI routes. Start it using the command already used by your ABRIA project, then verify /api/health before wiring the UI.

textpython -m abria_server

Verify the runtime

GET /api/health returns the Python runtime version and the native module version. Treat those as separate fields when diagnosing a stale native build.

  • Expected Python version in this source set: 0.24.0
  • If native_version is older, rebuild the native extension instead of changing the docs version

Create a persistent ABR identity

POST /api/abr/account/create creates a UUID user id, generated abr-* username, one-time password and opaque session token. The durable account record is committed through the AETHER bridge.

textPOST /api/abr/account/create
{
  "display_name": "Docs Explorer",
  "device_name": "School-GIT Docs"
}

Teach then ask

Persistent learning requires an authenticated account. Experiences are stored in that account's ABR fabric, not copied into other users.

textPOST /api/abr/experience
Authorization: Bearer <session-token>
{"text":"Nexa has silver wings. Nexa stores energy.","source":"quickstart"}

POST /api/abr/answer
{"message":"Describe Nexa."}
