Separate subsystem
neural_v2.py is not the definition of ABR. It is an optional neural component in the wider ABRIA system and can be inspected or configured separately.

Why keep it separate
ABR's core promise is that a personal cognitive fabric can operate from explicit experiences without requiring a pretrained foundation checkpoint. Neural experiments can assist without replacing that representation.

Version diagnostics
When debugging mixed builds, check /api/health for both version and native_version. Historical comments may mention 0.14/0.15/etc.; the uploaded Python runtime is 0.24.0.
