RS Ultra defaults

Aggressive response caching without making projects unservable

RS is the project response and continuity fabric. It can answer from fresh or explicitly retained stale objects, enforce per-project cache budgets, restore visitor state and wake sleeping runtimes in the background.

The aggressive profile caches eligible HTML, JSON and assets with large per-project budgets, normalized query keys, stale-while-revalidate and stale-if-error windows.

Content-addressed response bodies live in AETHER binary storage.

Project indexes avoid global cache scans.

Policy generations invalidate old keys immediately without blocking on physical deletion.

Creators can deliberately retain selected paths during a configured stale window. The behavior is visible through response headers and is separate from deterministic purge/invalidation controls.

RS is never allowed to turn a valid project response into a 500. Cache lookup or write failures cause a bypass, while the project source/runtime response continues.

Policies control TTLs, stale windows, path inclusion/bypass, query normalization, Vary headers, object/project budgets, eviction, warm paths, cookie behavior, visitor continuity and sleep thresholds.
