The Blocks Studio interface
The left side is the library. Categories keep the thousands of available blocks from appearing all at once. Search and category selection narrow the list before blocks are rendered.
Block palette
The left side is the library. Categories keep the thousands of available blocks from appearing all at once. Search and category selection narrow the list before blocks are rendered.
- Only the active category/search slice needs to be visible.
- Block colors help you recognize categories before you read the label.
Scripts workspace
The middle area is where scripts live. A script stack can be moved around the workspace, while blocks inside a stack snap together.
Drag a block from the palette.
Drop it onto a compatible insertion point.
Move a whole stack by its stack handle/drag area.
Stage and sprites
The Stage previews the running project. The sprite panel chooses which actor you are editing. Sprite properties and costumes belong to the selected sprite.
Code / Blocks switch
The normal text editor is still part of RC Studio. Switch to Code when you need a file-level view or want to inspect generated project output.
