Rate and review Bottles from the community. Give feedback, see what others think, and help developers improve their projects.
The Reviews & Ratings system allows any logged-in user to rate any public Bottle on a scale of 1 to 5 stars and leave a written review. Each user can submit one review per Bottle , which they can update at any time.
The average rating and total review count are displayed publicly on each Bottle, giving the community insight into project quality and popularity.
All reviews are public and visible to anyone browsing the Reviews page. Each review shows:
The average rating is calculated from all reviews for a Bottle and displayed prominently. The formula is simple:
Ratings are rounded to one decimal place. A Bottle with no reviews shows 0.0 .
You must be logged in to submit a review. If you're not signed in, you'll see a prompt to log in via GitHub.
Viewing reviews does not require authentication — anyone can browse ratings and reviews.
If you've already reviewed a Bottle, submitting a new review will update your existing one rather than creating a duplicate. Your rating and comment will be replaced with the new values, and the timestamp updates.
